I Gracefully Quit.

If you haven't yet seen my extremely BOLD and very first Facebook live, I highly recommend watching after you read!

I gracefully quit my job. I decided the life I wanted to live was the life I deserved and nothing less. Not that my job was bad or that they did anything wrong, but I received clarity that I had been seeking for a really long time now.

You are NOT limited by the title that comes before or after your name.

What ever that title is, whether Dr., Mrs., mom or fill in the blank, you are not limited by it. You are not your title, you are MORE than that. And by the grace and mercy of God, we can confidently and boldly obtain more! As you all know by now, I carry various "titles" but none of them stand above the greatness that God has created me to be. It took one more job opportunity for me to realize it.

3 Weeks.

That is all it took...thank God! 😂 But really, within 3 weeks of employment at a beautiful 5 start facility, I decided enough was enough. I had worked through 3 weeks of being an LPN, pushing a medicine cart, passing pills, providing treatments, documenting in the electronic medical records, collaborating with the nurse's aides and other team members, hanging IVs, and providing only the highest quality care that I know how to. Every day it seemed to become more of a stress than the last and quickly I became overwhelmed. It wasn't that I didn't know how to do my job, it was my job. It was what I was doing on a daily basis. Staying 2 to 3 hours past the end of my shift was overwhelming and of course getting adjusted to a new job will take time, but I knew that this time that is not what was happening. It took 3 weeks, but I gained clarity that what I was doing was not where I was meant to be.

Be careful what you pray for.

I prayed for this job. It came quickly and it surely was answered, but during my experience I understood that God will literally give you whatever it is that you ask for. Sometimes it's quick, sometimes it seems to take a life time, but either way he answers. I can honestly say that I am grateful for answered prayers even if in the midst of them I feel troubled, I know that they all come with a lesson. This time I understood and was able to appropriately explain to my job why it was time for me to resign.

Thanks, but, no thanks.

How do you know that what you are currently doing is not what you should be putting your work into? When you continuously have feelings of stress and are often times overwhelmed. I LOVE what I do, but doing it for 3 years and experiencing the same exact stress and same exact overwhelming feelings really showed me that it wasn't anything I was doing or anything my jobs were doing. It isn't what I need to be working on anymore. The chapter of limiting myself to an LPN in a nursing, home health, rehab and other facilities has ended for me. My dreams and goals aligned with the confirmations I continued to receive. Over and over again I saw signs that God has already made me who I was meant to be before I could even dream of it...now I just have to put in the work!

So as encouragement, be patient, be persistent, pray frequently and don't give up, move on and move forward. When they say there is a time for everything, it is true. My time of limiting myself happened to be several years...and then 3 weeks. And then, thanks, but no thanks. Don't limit yourself anymore!

I hope that this inspires someone to be BOLD without thinking about it. Don't rely on tangible things that easily come and go, to determine your life. Pray and pay attention to the subtle signs that God sends your way (through people, songs, your children, and even blog posts😁). You CAN live the life you dream if you turn that FEAR into FAITH !!

Thank you for joining me on my new journey of transformation ! The good and the bad, I embrace it all and I appreciate the support through it all from every one of you! 💕
